The arrest of two more persons aged 18 and 20, the police proceeded to in the framework of the investigation of 70 cases of theft from cars and two cases of burglary and theft, committed in recent months in municipalities and communities of Famagusta district.
It is recalled that, as mentioned in a previous Cyprus Times article,[/B] a special investigative team was set up by the local Police Directorate to deal with the case.[/B]
For the same cases, a 19-year-old man was arrested yesterday with a court warrant,[/B]
who was today brought before the Famagusta District Court, where a six-day detention order was issued against him.[/P]Following the above three arrests in total, the police continue to seek two more young persons with arrest warrants[/B]. [/B]
The investigation of the cases was undertaken by the special investigative team of the Famagusta CID.
