Juveniles arrested for motorcycle theft case in Limassol

Two youngsters, aged 16 and 17, were spotted by members of the police shortly before 3 o'clock.00 at dawn on Tuesday, in an abandoned building in Limassol, working on a motorcycle that had been stolen, it was later revealed.

The two young men tried to escape the checkpoint, but were intercepted by police members, who found that the motorbike had earlier been stolen from the area where it was parked, in Limassol, with its owner realising the theft after the motorbike was found, after being informed by police members.

For the purpose of police investigations, the two young men were arrested for a self-incriminating offence, while they made allegations, which are being investigated.

The investigations are being continued by the Limassol CID.
