Handcuffs on two persons in Limassol for drugs They were carrying cocaine while other drugs were found in houses
Police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman yesterday, in the
investigation of a case concerning illegal possession, possession for the purpose of
supply, use of drugs and money laundering
activities.
Specifically, at around 7.50pm yesterday, members of the Limassol police stopped for[BR]control a vehicle in which four persons aged 22, 32, 27 and 24 years old,[BR]in Limassol. During a search of the vehicle, a quantity of cocaine was found and[BR]the 22-year-old man was arrested for an offence of his own accord.
The 32-year-old woman was also arrested for an offence of her own accord, as a quantity of MDMA and two crushers with traces of cannabis were found in her possession.
Then, in a subsequent search of the apartment where the
22-year-old and the 24-year-old live in Limassol, where eight packages containing cocaine weighing a total of 22 were found and seized as
evidence,5[BR] grams, eight packages containing cannabis with a total weight of approximately 67[BR] grams, 135 vials and 50 tablets believed to contain[BR] anabolic substances, as well as the sum of EUR 2,550.
