The criminal organisation was allegedly behind an online financial services platform. Using around 250 accounts on social networks and websites, he managed to extort more than €15 million from German citizens.

According to a Europol press release, the criminal network operated between May 2019 and September 2021.

By advertising financial services and investment opportunities via an online platform, he managed to lure would-be investors into making transactions worth more than €15 million. For the purpose of advertising its "services", the network allegedly used over 250 websites and social media accounts.
