Handcuff the 34-year-old man wanted for the arson of a 38-year-old woman's vehicle in Limassol Police are investigating him

The police today arrested a 34-year-old Limassol resident to facilitate interrogations in connection with an ongoing case of car arson.

A warrant for the arrest of the 34-year-old was pending, which was issued on the basis of testimony obtained against him during police investigations.


The case of car arson was committed on the morning of January 21, 2022. A few minutes before 6am a fire had broken out in a car, owned by a 38-year-old woman, which was parked on a road in Limassol.

The fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Service, however the car was completely destroyed.

Subsequent examinations revealed that the fire was set maliciously.

Limassol CID is investigating the case.
