Another 'suitor' for Chelsea has been added to the 'marriage' list since Roman Abramovich announced his intention to sell his beloved club due to the sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

British real estate entrepreneur Nick Candy will not only seek to make Chelsea his own, but intends to throw an extra £1.5 billion at the club to rebuild Stamford Bridge.
The 49-year-old property developer is in talks with several American investors to form a joint venture to buy the West London Blues. Candy has been watching Chelsea matches since the age of 4 when his father took him to the stadium.
Nick Candy and his younger brother Christian, children of a Greek Cypriot mother and a father who is half Italian, are luxury property developers in Britain with a fortune estimated at 1.5 billion. The two brothers started in real estate with £6,000 borrowed from their grandmother. They bought their first property in 1995, a small flat in London's Earl's Court, which they sold after 18 months, making a profit of £50,000.
Today, their luxury property empire includes One Hyde Park and NoHo Square.
Their company, which was called Candy & Candy, was renamed Candy Property in 2018, as Nick is now the sole owner.
The 49-year-old businessman is married to Australian actress Holly Valance, with whom he has two children.
Roman Abramovich instructed the Raine Group to find a buyer for Chelsea last week after his original plan to hand the club over to the trustees of the Chelsea charity collapsed in the face of doubts and opposition from the Charity Commission.
The US merchant bank is thought to have around 20 expressions of interest, but only half a dozen of those are considered credible buyers.
Several parties from around the world have since expressed an interest in buying the club, with Swiss-American duo Todd Belly and Hansjörg Vyse having already submitted a bid, as well as New York owner Jets Johnson. Also among the suitors is Turkish businessman Muhsin Bayrak, who has claimed he is to hold further talks with the club tomorrow.
Raine Group have set a deadline of Tuesday for bids, but that date is only for initial proposals as Abramovich will continue to accept offers to buy the club.
