The Greek Foreign Ministry issued a stern statement in which it responds to the latest statements by Turkish officials.
"Greece will not follow Turkey[/B] in its daily outrageous and out of bounds downward spiral of statements and threats," the Greek Foreign Ministry said.
"We will immediately inform our allies and partners about the content of the provocative statements of the last few days, in order to make clear who is dynamiting the cohesion of our alliance in a particularly dangerous period."
At the same time, the statement stresses that Greece will continue to operate on the basis of the rules of international law and the law of the sea, as a pillar of stability and security for the wider region.
