The cases recorded in the last 24 hours in Greece - The announcement of EODY - All information on new deaths and hospitalizations
EODY announced that the new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 4,801, of which 12 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 1,017,445 (daily change +0.5%), of which 50.5% are men.
Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 137 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 2,837 are associated with an already known case. The ?? for the territory based on cases is estimated at 0.93 (95% CI: 0.86 1.02)
New deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 77, with a total of 19,553 deaths recorded since the start of the outbreak. 95.3% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.
The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 683 (60.3% male). Their median age is 64 years. 80.7% have underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.
Among intubated patients, 553 (80.97%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 130 (19.03%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,632 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
New admissions of Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 353 (daily change +8.62%). The seven-day average admission is 368 patients.The median age of cases is 38 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
