A minor boy reported his rape by two friends, aged 16 and 18, in the center of Athens.

The complaint is being investigated by the police officers of the Attica Juvenile Security Department.

According to information from enikos.gr, the minor boy who comes from Somalia complained of being raped by two of his friends, aged 16 and 18.

At Eleftherias Park

The three boys who are staying in a shelter for unaccompanied minors in Athens on Christmas Eve went together, to Eleftherias Park. As the 17-year-old boy, who reported the rape, testified, they consumed a quantity of alcohol together.

Recounting the nightmare he experienced, he described that the two boys suddenly restrained him, gagged him[/b] and drove him to a secluded spot in the park. The juvenile tried to escape, but the two perpetrators held his hands and held him still. According to what the child told authorities, he was sexually abused[/b] by both of them.

The 17-year-old boy the next day found courage and spoke to the psychologist of the facility, describing what happened. The staff of the shelter took him to the hospital and at the same time informed the juvenile department.

The 18-year-old and the 16-year-old were arrested and will be taken to the juvenile prosecutor's office.
