German tourists on a chartered flight to the occupied territories, says the "ministry of tourism"

The 156 German tourists arrived in the occupied territories last night on a chartered flight and in the context of attracting winter tourism, according to the "tourism ministry" which aims in this way to bring in tourists all 12 months of the year.

The "tourism minister", Fikri Ataoglu said that tourists for the spring quarter will come to the occupied territories on chartered flights from Germany, Britain and France. They aim, he said, to bring 30,000 tourists in 3 months in this way. With the revival of tourism, the economy will also be revived, he added.

The group of 156 Germans who arrived last night, Ataoglu said, will stay in the occupied territories for 14 days, the first seven of which will be guided tours and the other seven will be free to make their own schedule.

On a regular basis in the coming period, he continued, tourists will also come from Britain and France and estimated that "tourism will return to the good old days."
