The lawyers for the family of Pavlos Fyssas have issued a statement in which they say that on Wednesday 15 June the second-degree trial of the criminal organisation "Golden Dawn" will begin.
The statement said that the victims were vindicated in the first court decision. It then calls on "those who are imbued with democratic and anti-fascist feelings to support this battle with their presence".

On Wednesday 15 June at 9:00 am in the Ceremonial Hall of the Athens Court of Appeal, the second degree trial of the criminal organisation "Golden Dawn", in the context of which, among other things, the manslaughter of Pavlos Fyssas was committed, will begin. The first court decision, the result of many years of painstaking work by those involved in the trial, vindicated the victims and the voices that for years had been warning of the criminal nature of the Nazi organisation 'Golden Dawn'.
On our behalf, those of us present in support of the prosecution are called upon once again to present all the evidence that fully proves the illegal acts of the defendants before the Court of Criminal Appeals, confident that the decision of the first instance will be upheld by the court of appeal.
We again call on all those who are inspired by democratic and anti-fascist feelings to support this battle with their presence.
