Weather Department Weather Bulletin Weak high pressure affects the region

Today periods of mostly clear weather will alternate with clouds, which will likely produce isolated light showers, mainly in the west and the mountains. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and the sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 19 degrees inland and on the coast and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be partly cloudy and there may be isolated light showers, mainly in the west. Winds will be northwest to northeast, light 3 Beaufort and the sea will become generally calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to around 7 degrees inland, around 11 degrees in the west and on the northern coast, around 8 degrees on the rest of the coast and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost will form locally.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday periods of mainly clear weather will alternate with cloudy, likely to produce isolated, mainly light, showers, mainly in the west and mountains.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly[/B] over the three days, to be just above average climatic values.

The snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 8 cm.
