The details of the beating of the 14-year-old boy in Kifissia, who on Saturday night was robbed together with his friends by a gang of minors, are shocking.

The young student was beaten for 20 minutes by more than 15 people in Platanou Square, one of the most central places in Kifissia, without any of the passers-by reacting.Last night, at 22:00, my son's group, 4 boys and 2 girls, all 14 years old, were attacked by a large group of children, 15-16 years old, from schools in Kifissia and Nea Erythraia.

Last night, at 22:00, my son's group, 4 boys and 2 girls, all 14 years old, were attacked by a large group of children, 15-16 years old, from schools in Kifissia and Nea Erythraia.

They were in the park, above the Platanos parking lot at first, and then they were chased outside the National Bank. They beat and kicked one of my son's friends and finally hit him in the head with a bottle! All this in the center of Kifissia and no one ran to help them!, the mother of the 14-year-old's friend said in a Facebook post.

It all started shortly after 9.30 on Saturday night. About 10 young people, aged 15-17, gathered in Kifissia park. As time went by, the group grew as people on motorbikes arrived at the square.

At the same time, the 14-year-old boy and his 3 friends and 2 girlfriends were in the square above the underground parking lot on Adrianou Street. The young men, who were walking down towards the station of the Kifissia train station, moved towards them in a threatening manner.

There they started to threaten the 14-year-old's group and asked them to give them their mobile phones. The 14-year-old and one of his friends refused, causing the youths to beat them while the other children managed to escape.

At that point, more than 15 gang members, no more than 16 years old, threw the two children to the ground and began kicking and punching them. Although they managed to steal their mobile phones, they did not stop there

Such was the fury of the perpetrators that they kicked the 14-year-old boy all over his body while he was trying to escape to Kifissia Avenue. At that point, they managed to catch him and one of the gang hit him on the head with a glass bottle.

And all this in front of the eyes of hundreds of passers-by who were at that time in the busiest part of Kifissia.

The unfortunate student was saved thanks to the timely intervention of his friend, who called the police and the ambulance of the ambulance service that transported the 14-year-old to the hospital.

According to information, the two 14-year-olds seem to have identified some of the perpetrators of the robbery. Police are examining footage from security cameras in the area to identify the youths involved in the attack.

In one of these videos, the gang can be seen gathering in Platanos Square half an hour before the attack.
