Flight delays due to a traveller trying to bypass screening at Larnaca What the information says

Two flights were delayed by a traveller at Larnaca Airport.
According to the Cyprus Times, passengers on two flights had to be rechecked on the instructions of the Civil Aviation Authority when a traveller was spotted trying to bypass screening.
According to the same information, the man was a police officer working at the airport, who was travelling in a civilian capacity and was using his pass to try to bypass screening.
As soon as he was spotted by airport officials, the Civil Aviation flight protocol, which provides for the screening of all passengers, was activated.
