From incident to incident the Fire Service is running
The Fire Service, due to the fierce winds blowing in various areas has so far responded to 20 incidents for assistance.
Specifically, 17 are in the Nicosia district,[/B] 3 in Limassol and one in Larnaca.
According to spokesman Andreas Kettis, the incidents involved falling and moving trees while in two cases, trees fell on parked vehicles, with no occupants.
Also, billboards, solar water heaters as well as structures made of cheap materials were moved.
