On 2.611 are the checks carried out by the police nationwide in the last 24 hours, in order to ascertain compliance with the measures and the application of the provisions of the Contagious Diseases Act.
During the checks, 14 complaints of citizens and 15 complaints of managers of establishments were made.
Regarding the inspections by province, in Nicosia 715 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 7 complaints from citizens and 7 complaints from establishments, in Limassol 301 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 1 citizen's complaint and 3 premises and in Larnaca 616 checks were carried out, which resulted in 1 complaint against a premises.
Also, in Paphos 131 checks were carried out, which resulted in 3 complaints against establishments and 2 citizens and in Famagusta 489 checks were carried out, which resulted in 4 complaints against citizens and 1 establishment.
In the area of Morphou, 244 checks were carried out, without any complaints.
Also, nationwide, the Traffic Police carried out 111 checks, without any complaints, while at the Ports and Airports 4 checks were carried out without any complaints.
