Fifty Greek and Cypriot citizens who escaped from Ukraine will be transferred by the Greek Foreign Ministry to Athens They will be received at Eleftherios Venizelos airport by Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Katsaniotis
Fifty Greek and Cypriot citizens, who fled Odessa and Kiev in yesterday's special evacuation operations, are being transported to Athens from Bucharest by a special chartered flight of the Greek Foreign Ministry.
As announced by the Greek Foreign Ministry, the Greek and Cypriot citizens were evacuated from Kiev and Odessa yesterday in special operations, which were successfully completed in consultation with the Greek and Cypriot Foreign Ministries.
Currently, the Greek and Cypriot citizens are in Bucharest and are expected to arrive at Athens' Eleftherios Venizelos airport[/B] at 20.00.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with a special chartered flight, is transporting 50 citizens of Greece and the Republic of Cyprus, as well as their family members, from Bucharest," the Greek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"The above were evacuated from Odessa and Kiev in yesterday's operations, which were successfully completed in consultation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries," the Foreign Ministry added.
The Greek and Cypriot citizens will be welcomed at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport by Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Katsaniotis.
