The questions behind foster care and the special allowance Who is the 34-year-old man who has been with Father Antonio since he was 9 years old

A 34-year-old man is one of the three persons being investigated in addition to Father Antonio, for what allegedly happened at the Ark of the World.

The man in question is an Iraqi man who entered the structure when he was 9 years old and now presents himself as the general manager of the "Ark of the World", with his brothers, wife and wife's sister all working there. "I've known them since they came over from Iraq. They are three sisters and three boys. Six brothers. The three boys, they are the ones who are in charge inside the structure," says a witness."

Father Antoniou's right hand man

The 34-year-old is one of the first children to stay in the Ark. Father Antonius met him playing in a square when he was supposed to be at school and wanted to know his story.

In an earlier interview, the 34-year-old told of his relationship with the priest. "The Ark that defended me from a young child against xenophobia and racism can only be a refuge for the whole world. Father Anthony received a lot of opposition at first. There were many who told him 'why are you looking at foreign children now, you mind your own business'. But he continued. He never talked to us about religion, about the church. Never once did he tell us come and see what I do in the church. He respected our background and our beliefs."

From refugee... to posing with a cigar

According to a Live News report, the 34-year-old's life story has always raised questions. How a kid who came as a refugee suddenly led a comfortable life, with travel, expensive clothes and "eye-catching" watches. In fact, the 34-year-old often posted photos, such as one with a cigar, that captured a lifestyle that could only be described as humble and poor.

It was also the trips abroad, several throughout Greece and the lavish wedding recently that left a mark, with Father Antonio and his eldest mother at his side and one of the most famous singers taking over the entertainment of the guests.

The underwriting that... surprised

It is, however, another incident that has alarmed the world around him. He presented himself as the foster parent of a child from the facility, raising questions about whether he actually qualifies.

"Suddenly he appeared as the foster parent of a little girl, 4 years old from Albania, through the 'Ark'. She was saying it everywhere and we were very surprised how such a young man, on his own, managed to become a foster parent, while couples who had been struggling to do so for years were rejected by the 'Ark'. We all wondered about the criteria and how he met them. Of course, we could see that money flowed freely. Travel, life of luxury. She even said she was on foster care. A few months later, he married a worker from the Ark. A marriage of plenty."

And while Pope Antoniou's right-hand man was approved as a foster child and received the allowance, the woman speaking to LIVE NEWS, although she tried many times to become a foster child from the 'Ark', always ran into a wall. "They don't give. That's the thing, that the grandfather, Father Anthony, won't let foster children be fostered by any means. And he even claims that the child doesn't want it because he's having such a good time, he doesn't want it."

For every child placed in foster care, the foster parents are given financial assistance to cover their living expenses. An allowance that starts at 325 euros and can reach 1,200.

The 34-year-old, as well as two other members of the "Ark" who, over time, went from being guests to employees of the structure, are under the microscope of the authorities for the lewdness that has been reported and for abuse. The inhumane punishments that "stained" consequences and beatings of children of the "Ark."
