A new family tragedy due to the pandemic is revealed, this time in Lamia, where a couple died from complications of the coronavirus within just 14 days, leaving three children orphaned.[/b]
The couple were admitted to the Lamia hospital on 23 November. On the 29th and 30th of the same month, the 52-year-old mother and 57-year-old father had to be intubated due to complications in their health.
Unfortunately, on December 13, the 52-year-old woman breathed her last. Her husband struggled for a total of 29 days with coronavirus, but in the end he did not succeed either and passed away 14 days later. On the second day of Christmas, the 57-year-old man tested negative for coronavirus, but the damage it had caused was irreversible.

The couple were well-loved in Lamia. According to lamiareport.gr, on the issue of coronavirus they were opposed to the vaccine, despite what their cousin, who is a rescuer at the ambulance service, told them.
