Next Monday, February 28, Stefanos Stefanou and Nicolas Papadopoulos are expected to officially inaugurate the dialogue for the 2023 presidential elections, as reported by the Cyprus Times, according to information from the two parties.
According to the same information, only the two of them will be present at the first meeting and the discussion will be limited to procedural issues for the continuation of the dialogue, in which convergences will be sought on a number of issues, which will form the basis of the envisaged cooperation.
Nicolas Papadopoulos said yesterday that after the meeting with Stefanos Stefanou he will have meetings with the leaders of the other opposition parties, except ELAM, while after the completion of the cycle of contacts with the opposition parties, he will also meet with Averof Neophytou.
Executives from both parties convey a positive atmosphere at the level of leaders and the will to enter into dialogue with honesty and good faith, as Stefanos Stefanou and Nicolas Papadopoulos have stressed several times in their statements.
Today, tomorrow at the latest, the date of the meeting, as well as the time and place, is expected to be finalised.
