A strong earthquake has woken up Cyprus. The earthquake occurred at around three in the morning and was felt across the island.
According to initial reports from the EMSC, the earthquake was 6.4 Richter. The epicentre of the earthquake was located 112 kilometres west-northwest of Limassol and the focal depth was about 51 kilometres.
However, in their reports, the citizens, apart from a large intensity earthquake, spoke of a lasting earthquake.
