An extraordinary meeting of the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives is currently being held to discuss the bill submitted by the Government under the urgent procedure for the reduction of the excise tax on fuel.
The chairwoman of the Finance Committee, Christiana Erotokritou, called for the meeting to be convened in the middle of the plenary session to discuss the issue.
The members of the Finance Committee left the plenary session and are discussing the issue in closed session.
The bill will then be discussed in the plenary session.
