[/QUOTE]Everyone in the region has F35s except Turkey, says Kilicdaroglu He asked why the Turkish government bought the S-400
The weakest air defence in the region is Turkey, opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu said, saying that everyone in the region has F35 except Turkey.
In an interview with Turkey's Haberturk TV, Kemal Kilicdaroglu questioned why the Turkish government bought the S-400.[/B] "Will Greece, Iraq or Syria attack us? We got it in return for the (Russian) plane we shot down," the opposition leader said.
Kemal Kilicdaroglu also said that "our air defense system is very weak right now, the whole world knows it. The air defense system in this region is currently the weakest in Turkey. They are not giving enough spare parts for the F-16s. We can't get the money we paid for the F-35s. We will change our foreign policy 180 degrees." This is to Turkey's detriment." The opposition leader said that now everyone in the region has F35s except Turkey.
"Turkey should stand proud, upright, not like this. I am responsible for protecting my flag and Turkey's reputation. I have never seen anything like this before. I'm not saying go to war. Foreign policy is a chess arena. There must be people of value in foreign policy," the opposition leader said. As he said now for foreign policy statements in Turkey, it is not Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu but the spokesman of the presidency Ibahim Kalin and Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.
On the Turkish government's rapprochement with Qatar, Kemal Kilicdaroglu said "you invited Qatar. You hosted them after waves and cries. And they went and cooperated with the Greeks in the Eastern Mediterranean. Do you hear the voice of this gentleman [S.S. ERDOGAN]? He couldn't say a single sentence. Why don't you speak? We have soldiers there. He was left alone in the Eastern Mediterranean. They came and searched for oil in our exclusive economic zone. Here, sir, why don't you say a word? Didn't you say you were a hero? You were saying I am the world leader, you were saying the world is bigger than five, come on. We will not step back," the opposition leader said."
