The woman tested positive in a random test inside the hospital, where she was hospitalized due to her disease.She did not manage to stay alive, as the coronavirus contributed to the aggravation of her health

A woman with severe underlying diseases, who was hospitalized at Evangelism for this reason, breathed her last. Subsequently, however, and while in hospital, she became ill with the Omicron mutation of the coronavirus, initially with mild symptoms.

The symptoms, due to her already difficult health condition, did not take long to worsen. As a result, she was admitted to the ICU with septic shock.

Reportedly, this was the first confirmed case of a patient hospitalized in an ICU with the new mutant strain of coronavirus.

The case of the unfortunate woman demonstrates how vulnerable to coronavirus, even in the mildest form of the disease, are the elderly and the vulnerable.
