DISY President meets with the Minister of Commerce The arrival of natural gas in Cyprus for power generation purposes was discussed

The Minister of Commerce, Mrs. Natasha Pileidou as well as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Enterprise of Natural Gas, Mr. Nikos Castellani, were received today by the President of the Democratic Rally of Cyprus, Mr. Averof Neophytou and his colleagues.

The meeting focused on developments in the energy field as far as the Republic of Cyprus is concerned, as well as the coordination and priorities for all the required infrastructure projects.

Issues related to energy security and issues related to the entry of natural gas into Cyprus for power generation purposes were also discussed.
