The talented actor talks about his return to television and the hated role of "Akyla"

Emilios Hilakis was a guest on the show "Eleni", who spoke about his return to television, and revealed that he "hates" the role of "Achyla", which he plays in the drama series of ANT1 "Wild Bees".

Specifically, he says of his role: "Achilas sells an extreme ideology so that he can fish in murky waters for the "conservative security" of the people next to him in order to get the public works. His wife and children belong to him, or so he feels. He's one of the characters I've worked on with particular care, because he's one of the people I know, that I've known, that I deeply loathe. Because I know what I disagree with them I've focused on and that's what I show you in the show. When you know what you disagree with and you've named it, it's clear."

He then went on to talk about society and the negative incidents that become known every day that affect the public. "People are angry because the crisis is ten years old and the two-year exclusion from the coronavirus. Anger is difficult to manage. Many times I have caught people being toxic in both positive and negative ways. I think we need to let things go, whatever bad or wrong is going on, and look at it later. It would be good not to provoke the toxicity of others, because it is ready to pour out," Emilios Hilakis stressed.

Finally, on why he "disappeared" from television, the well-known actor said: "I was avoiding the shows like the devil avoids incense. I was afraid that the image of the handsome one would come out about me. Even the money I made from my voice, the commercials, I was making a show of it. Some people got paid, technicians, actors, cast, crew, musicians, set designers... I know well that the right professional can tell his story and be consistent."
