One after another the dams overflow.

Yesterday afternoon the dam of Pomos with a total capacity of 860 thousand cubic metres of water overflowed, while on Sunday the dam of Argaka with a capacity of 990 thousand cubic metres of water overflowed.

The largest dam in Paphos province, the Asprokremmos has exceeded 80% of its capacity as it has accumulated almost 43 million cubic metres of water out of its 52 million capacity.

Yesterday 2 million 700 thousand cubic meters of water flowed into all dams[/B] but based on yesterday's rains and snowfalls in the mountains it is estimated that today's measurement will exceed any previous one this year.

The fullness of all dams is at 68% of their capacity.

In absolute numbers, almost 198 million cubic meters of water are stored in the dams out of their total capacity of 223 million.
