It was around eleven o'clock on Sunday night when a 38-year-old man was driving his vehicle on Antonis Ryala Street in Vrysoules at some point on the road, under circumstances under investigation, lost control of his vehicle.

As a result of this he collided on the left, according to his course, with a parked vehicle and came to a stop causing property damage to both vehicles.

Members of the Deryneia Police Station attended the scene and a preliminary breathalyser test carried out on the 38-year-old found that he had 120mpg in his breath instead of 22mpg.

The 38-year-old was taken to the Deryneia Police Station and after being charged in writing he was released to be summoned to appear in Court at a later date.

The Deryneia Police Station is investigating.
