The Executive Bureau of the Democratic Rally (DISY) decided to submit a motion to the House of Representatives regarding the developments in Ukraine.
According to a statement by DISY, at an extraordinary meeting today the party's Executive Bureau, with the participation of international experts and a group of specialists, was informed about the latest developments in Eastern Ukraine.
During the meeting, "and analysis of the impact on our national issue, the economic impact of the European Union's sanctions on the Russian Federation and the impact of possible countermeasures on the part of the Russian Federation".
As stated in the statement, it was also decided on behalf of the Executive Bureau of the Democratic Rally to submit a draft resolution to the House of Representatives to condemn the recognition by the Russian Federation of the illegal and unilateral declaration of independence of the breakaway territories of Donetsk and Luhansk in Eastern Ukraine.
