The Democratic Rally accuses AKEL of having a single objective, which is none other than the "takeover of power", through its statement-response to General Secretary Stefanos Stefanou and what he claimed in his statement today.
"Let us remind Mr. Stefanou for the umpteenth time that the 12% on pensions was imposed under their administration.
Let us remind Mr. Stefanou that we will not fight accuracy by watering the money centre planted by AKEL with populism, but with targeted measures that the government and DISY have already taken," DISY says.
Continuing, DISY says that social policy is exercised through rational management of public finances. "Not with empty words", it says.
"The Democratic Rally and the government will continue to support society without endangering our economy," it concludes.
