Following the announcement issued after the meeting of the Expanded Political Bureau of 1 December 2021, the Democratic Rally by announcement reminds that the procedure for the submission of interest by members of the Party, for claiming the nomination of the DISY candidate for the office of President of the Republic for the 2023 Presidential Elections, will take place as follows:
- Date and time of submission: 10 January 2022, 09:30am - 12:00pm
- Venue.
- Submission forms can be obtained from the Director of Administration and Organization of the Party, Mr. George Lysandridis.
- The interested member should have his/her dues settled by 2022

It is reminded that based on Article 10.1.7. and Article 30.4 of the Constitution, the Supreme Council nominates by election the Party's candidate in a Presidential Election and may refer the result for ratification by the Pancyprian Congress.
Therefore the Political Bureau will meet on Tuesday, 11 January 2022 to consider the validity of the applications of interest in relation to the Constitution, Legislation and Statutes and subsequently submit them to the Supreme Council, whose meeting is set for Saturday, 12 March 2022.
