Road conditions
Only the roads Karvouna-Troodos, Platron-Troodos, and Prodromos-Troodos remain open for vehicles with all-wheel drive or equipped with anti-skid chains, due to slippery road surfaces.
There are no particular problems on the motorways and on the road network in urban areas, however, due to the rainfall that occurred in places during the night, the road surface may be slippery in several places.
The Police recommend special attention to those travelling on the road network and drivers are advised to drive at a safe, low speed and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
It should be noted that the situation on the road network is variable due to the prevailing winter conditions.
