Announcement of the Police Closure of a section of Limassol Avenue in Nicosia Alternative routes to and from Nicosia

In Nicosia, the section of Limassol Avenue near the junction with Kallipoleos Avenue is temporarily closed, up to the junction with Kennedy Avenue, in both directions, to and from Nicosia, due to security measures taken for the football match between APOEL and OMONOIA, which finished around 7pm.00 on Sunday evening and for the safety of the movements of fans and the general public.

For their journeys to Nicosia, passing motorists may use Kallipolios Avenue, as well as, via Athalassa Avenue, Acropolis Avenue to Victory Avenue.

Passing drivers heading from Nicosia centre to Aglantzia, may use Larnakos Avenue and Kallipolos Avenue, while drivers heading from the centre of Nicosia towards Strovolos and the motorway towards Larnaca and Limassol can use Kallipolos Avenue, as well as Nikis Avenue towards Akropolis Avenue and Athalassa Avenue.
