Cyprus' willingness to deepen relations with Portugal, especially in shipping, Deputy Minister of Shipping Vassilis Demetriades expressed during his meeting with the Ambassador of Portugal to Cyprus Vanda Sequeira.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of State, welcoming Mrs. Shekira, Mr. Demetriades expressed his satisfaction for the excellent cooperation between Cyprus and Portugal, underlining his willingness to further deepen these relations, especially in the field of shipping and the blue economy, both on a bilateral level and in the context of their joint participation in the European Union and the International Maritime Organization.
