Danae Barca poses topless and sends a strong message "I can wear what I want, you have no right to hurt me"
A very important message for women's rights - and not only - was sent by Danae Barca with a post on Instagram.
The well-known presenter posted a photo, where she posed in her bikini topless, lying face down on a lounger and emphasized what we should all take for granted, that no matter what anyone wears - or doesn't wear - it doesn't give anyone the right to harm them.
In the caption of her post, Danae Barca made it clear in a long text that she will always be on the side of those who fight for their rights.
Specifically, she wrote: "I can wear what I want. I can not wear what I want. I can be wherever I want to be. I can be with whoever I want. I have a right to be equal to those around me. I have the right to go out, to dance, to walk alone. I have a right to meet people, to laugh, to flirt. I have a right to be as I feel good or as I can be. I need to love, to be loved, to trust, to let go, to dream. I have a right to work, to create, to have a career. I need to be loved and cared for. But you, and every "you" has NO right to hurt me. You have no right to touch me without wanting to. You have no right to expose me without wanting to. You have no right to hurt me mentally or physically. If you do, you will suffer the legal consequences. If you do, you will suffer the social consequences. If you do, you will simply be an insecure and immature (im)person who thinks you are stronger than I. But I, and every I, have a voice. Also me and every me could be your sister, your mother, your wife, your best friend, your child and you wouldn't want to hurt them. However I, and every I, am also an empathetic person and would never choose to stir up a torrent against ANYONE. I would want everything to be done in JUSTICE,in peace and with respect to anyone who may "hear" without reason. I would like my tenderness and support to be shown to all victims but my negative feelings to no one-that is for the prosecutor and judges to decide.I would like to turn my bad feelings into strength for those who need me,because if I ever find myself in a similar position that is what I will need. Support and compassion. Let no harm come to anyone. No one.Is there any greater harm than living with the burden of being a brutal abuser? No. But why should I be one? I won't. I will demand my rights, stand by anyone who needs me, and harm no one. Not physically, not verbally. I will always stand for love for all and respect for all. Always. That's what I consider empathy, that's what I consider peace, that's what I dream of for society. How about you? Good night."
