The President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades attended talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai today.
The meeting took place in the framework of the International Day of Cyprus, at EXPO 2020 and was also attended by the Ministers and Deputy Ministers accompanying the President of the Republic.
During the meeting, Memoranda of Understanding were signed between Cyprus and the UAE.
In particular, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of maritime transport, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of Cyber Security and a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of Diplomatic Education were signed.
A Joint Declaration on the Establishment of a Comprehensive Cooperation Strategy was also signed
