Removal of 42 civilians, including Cypriot citizens, from Ukraine, announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs "Successfully completed on the initiative of the Embassy of Cyprus in Ukraine and the Crisis Management Centre at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs"

42 civilians were successfully removed from Ukraine, including citizens of Cyprus and Greece, Ukrainians with family ties in Cyprus and EU citizens, including children and elderly people.

In a post on Twitter, Foreign Ministry spokesman Dimitris Demetriou noted that on the initiative of the Embassy of Cyprus in Ukraine and the Crisis Management Center at the Foreign Ministry, the first evacuation of 42 civilians from Ukraine, including citizens of Cyprus and Greece, Ukrainians with family ties in Cyprus and EU citizens, among them children and elderly, was successfully completed.
