In his response, Attorney General George Savvidis stresses that if and when specific information and evidence of Cyprus' involvement in sexual offences are presented, they will be investigated immediately by the investigating authorities.

No complaint has been brought before the Cyprus Police so far about any ring that may be operating in Cyprus, police spokesman Christos Andreou said in a statement to the Cyprus Times.
"On the basis of information and publications, on the instructions of the force's leadership, we will contact the Greek Police through Interpol. The instructions are for us to investigate any information and we will do so," he said.
