Cyprus and UAE sign memorandums President meets Crown Prince on Wednesday at the palace
Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are expected to sign memorandums for cooperation in various sectors, as part of President Nicos Anastasiades' visit to the country.
Tomorrow after noon, President Anastasiades accompanied by members of the Cypriot delegation will proceed to the Palace in Abu Dhabi, where he will have a meeting at 11am local time (9am Cyprus time) with the Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nayhan.
Among the issues expected to be discussed during the meeting are developments in the Cyprus problem, regional developments, bilateral relations between Cyprus and the UAE, energy issues and EU-UAE relations.
The President of the Republic has been in Dubai since Monday evening, leading a delegation consisting of the Ministers of Finance, Energy, Defence, Defence, Agriculture, Transport, the Deputy Ministers of Tourism, Shipping, Research, the Deputy Minister to the President and the Deputy Government Spokesperson.
On the sidelines of the visit, which takes place on the occasion of Cyprus' International Day at EXPO 2020 in Dubai, the Ministers of Energy, Transport, Defence, Agriculture and the Deputy Minister of Tourism will have bilateral contacts tomorrow.
Today, in the early afternoon, Minister of State for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Kyriakos Kokkinos will have a bilateral meeting with Minister of State for Industry and Technology Development, Omar Ahmed Suwaina al Suwaidi.
