The unfortunate man was crushed by a large tree trunk and was found unconscious by a relative

A 71-year-old man died this morning in the area of Temenia in the municipality of Kantanos-Selenos Chania in Crete, during agricultural work.

According to initial information, the unfortunate man was crushed by a large tree trunk and was found unconscious by a relative.

An ambulance was called to the scene, but the elderly man had lost his life.

An investigation into the accident is being conducted by the Kantanos-Selinos police station.
