Constant twists and turns, denials and new evidence in the case of the death of the three children in Patras that has shocked the nation

Sources from the Athens Forensic Service with deep knowledge of the file of the case of the sudden death of the three children in Patras refute the information circulated earlier about inhalation of toxic gas that led Georgina to death.

Specifically, the information was that the autopsy, necropsy and scientific examination of the 9-year-old girl, Georgina, shows lesions on her nose bone, allegedly caused by inhaled gas, toxic or poisonous, which led to her death.

With the case of the three dead children from Patras shocking everyone, everyone is looking for any information that can lead to solving the mystery and answers. Sometimes wrong information or misinterpretations of the data collected by the authorities and those tasked with finding the real causes of the deaths of the three children of the same family take on dimensions.

The mystery remains

The authorities point out that the deaths of the three children remain unexplained, which is why the investigations are continuing intensively, but nothing can yet be ruled out.

After the Homicide Officers of the Attica Security Department have been extensively briefed on all the evidence and given that the results of the toxicology tests on Georgina are expected tomorrow or Wednesday, they will open the first round of 25 persons who will be called to give testimony.

These are doctors and nurses who handled the case of little Georgina.

New evidence: The cameras and the single room

New evidence or more information and explanations for facts we already knew are constantly coming to light.

As police editor Vassilis Lambropoulos told MEGA, pediatricians in Patras pointed out that they were particularly concerned by the fact that the girls showed health problems only when they were in the single room, without the supervision of doctors, while when they were in the ICU they did not show episodes of concern.

All this had raised clear suspicions among the doctors and they had considered placing cameras in the rooms where Georgina was treated, although in the end this plan did not materialise.

The choice of a single room was also a cause for concern.

The mother had claimed in an interview that the children were kept in a single room because the doctors had suggested it. However, what the mother stated contradicts what the doctors claimed, who revealed that the children's stay in a single room was at the behest of the girls' mother, who told them that she was a few weeks pregnant and dizzy.
