At an extraordinary meeting this afternoon, the Limassol Municipal Council decided to postpone tonight's festive event of the crowning of the Queen of the Limassol Carnival.[/B]
The postponement was deemed necessary as a sign of respect and solidarity with our fellow citizens who are suffering the suffering of the war in Ukraine.
The Limassol Municipality expresses its wish for peace and mutual respect between countries and peoples, both in the region and around the world.
