Coordinated operation in the area of Chloraka - Six persons arrested
A coordinated operation to police the community of Chloraka took place yesterday from 5pm, until midnight, which was attended by members of the Paphos CID, the Paphos OPE, the PMAD, the HQ OPOD and the Airport Security Directorate (ASA).
During the operation, checks were made on homes, apartment complexes, vehicles and persons, while four persons aged 40, 25, 21 and 18 were arrested[/B] under court warrants, four persons aged 40, 25, 21 and 18, to facilitate investigations, in relation to the incidents that took place in Paphos and Chloraka, between the dates of January 3-4, 2022.

Also, during the operation, a 33-year-old woman was arrested[/B] for a self-incriminating offence, in connection with a case of residential burglary committed earlier yesterday in Paphos province. During a search of her vehicle, property believed to be stolen property was found, and subsequently part of that property was identified by the owner of the house from which it was stolen.
At the same time, a person aged 28 years in whose possession property believed to be stolen property was found was arrested[/B] for an automatic offence.[/B]
In addition, during a check of an apartment complex in Chloraka, for violations of the decree concerning the settlement of applicants for international protection in that community, a 48-year-old man was found, who was questioned in writing.
Finally, a total of 380 vehicles were stopped, of which 51 were searched, as well as 68 persons, while 29 traffic complaints were made.
