End of an era for US CNN president Jeff Zucker, who resigned before a scandal broke.
One of the most powerful men in international media has admitted to a 20-year affair with a colleague.
The revelation was made by well-known American journalist Katie Currick who through her book spoke out about the powerful media man's affair with CNN's executive vice president and chief marketing officer Allison Golast.
As part of the investigation into CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, who was fired for helping his brother and former New York governor, who was accused of sexual harassment, Zucker was asked about the relationship with a close associate. He admitted the affair and then spoke of a mistake and resigned.
