Closure of Cheriou Avenue for Phase A1 of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway construction Informs the Public Works Department

The Project Engineering Office of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that, from Wednesday, 20 April 2022 at 07:00 in the morning and for a period of approximately five months, as part of the construction of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway Phase A1, Cheriou Avenue from its light-controlled junction with Pefkos and Spyrou Kyprianou Streets to the ready-mix concrete production plant of GGS Company for a length of approximately 500 meters will be closed to traffic.

During the execution of the works, traffic from Nicosia to Cheri and vice versa will be routed through Spyrou Kyprianou Street, the temporary light-controlled junction at a distance of approximately 500 metres and the new bypass road.

The Department of Public Works apologises for the unavoidable inconvenience and invites the public to show due understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
