In the "air" the case of 132 kilos of drugs...

Meanwhile, following this development, the case of the 132 kilos of drugs found on March 8 at the port of Limassol is effectively in the "air", as the 61-year-old was the person recently arrested by the Limassol YKAN and was the informant of the authorities that led to the first arrest of a 38-year-old.

He was the employee of the feed company, inside which the drugs were hidden. As it emerged from the investigations of the Service, the 61 year old man was directly involved in the importation of the huge quantity of drugs.

Interrogated, he confessed to his involvement and that together with the 38 year old Greek Cypriot in custody, they had arranged the importation of the huge cargo and that they had brought two more containers to Cyprus, which again contained drugs.

As the Head of Limassol CID said when asked about this, "when the investigations are completed then her file will be forwarded to the Legal Service, which will give the final instructions.
