The Foreign Minister will participate in an extraordinary, informal meeting of EU foreign ministers, which will take place on Tuesday afternoon in Paris.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus expresses its support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognised borders.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the Foreign Minister will participate in an extraordinary, informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministers, which will take place this afternoon in Paris.
It also stresses that "any actions that violate the territorial integrity of the country are contrary to basic principles of international law and violate the Minsk Agreements, which are the only way to resolve the crisis."
The Republic of Cyprus, it notes, is against any secession, recognition, support for secession and any form of annexation.
