The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Yannis Karousos, and the Deputy Minister of Shipping, Vassilis Dimitriades, who are part of the delegation visiting Dubai.
Messrs Karousosos and Demetriades visited the Port of Jebel Ali in Dubai, which is the flagship of DP World's portfolio.
In a post on social media, Mr. Karousosos pointed out that attracting cruise ships to the port of Limassol and the implementation of innovative practices and new technologies, which the company applies around the world to optimize the supply chain, were among the issues they discussed with DP World's CEO and Senior Director, Abdulla Bin Damithan and Saeed Al Zari`s.
The exchange of views with DP World's decision makers will continue in Cyprus, after our invitation was accepted in the framework of the Maritime Cyprus 2022 conference, Mr. Karousos added.
