A road accident occurred on Monday afternoon on a road in Lakatamia, resulting in two people being injured.

According to police, at around 5.50pm, on Akademias Street in Lakatamia, under as yet unclear circumstances, a driver lost control of his vehicle, resulting in the car hitting a tree and coming to a standstill.

The collision injured both two persons in the vehicle and an ambulance was rushed to the scene to transport them to the hospital, with his health condition remaining unknown at this time.
