Broad meeting this afternoon on health protocols in schools The test to stay
Broad meeting at the Ministry of Finance, attended by the Health and Education Ministers and involving education organisations, parents' confederations and other stakeholders takes place today at 15.00.
The meeting is expected to address the issue of anti-COVID-19 protocols in schools and in particular the test-to-stay measure.
As President of OELMEK Kostas Hadjisavas had stated to CNA, the position of OELMEK is the operation of schools, but above all, safety and health, without the slightest discount on health issues.
The PDOED will also submit its recommendations for the test - to - stay measure. As the President of the PDOED, Myria Vassiliou, had stated in CNA, the need for substantial support for school units and their managements has emerged, since the requirements of protocols, tracing, various circulars and notices that are constantly issued, worsen their already difficult daily life, which in many cases are also short of staff.
The meeting is also expected to carry contributions from kindergartens and special schools regarding the protocols in force.
